"City State Entertainment was founded in 2011 by game industry veterans Mark Jacobs and Andrew Meggs. Combined they have worked on more than two dozen titles including some of the most well-known titles in the game industry including Vampire the Masquerade, Dark Age of Camelot, Warhammer Online and Skyrim. In October 2012, CSE released it's first game, a tower defense game called March on Oz that is based on L. Frank Baum's Oz. It is currently available for the iPad and is being ported to the iPhone, select Android tablets and phones and the Ouya.
We are thrilled to endorse Brian Fargo’s Kicking It Forward initiative. Mythic & Brian’s company, Interplay/ENGAGE Games Online, worked together during the formative years of online gaming. CSE looks forward to supporting other worthy projects with part of the profits from this game. A successful Kickstarter-backed MMORPG could have long-lasting, significant effects on many more endeavors.
